AN EDUCATIONAL EUROPEAN PROJECT

   1.   Our goal is to find partners in the European Education Programme framework.Our project will focus on the pollution of shores and seas.

    2.   Presentation :

Our secundary school is called College Henri DHEURLE. It is situated in La Teste de Buch on the Atlantic coast in the south of the Bassin d'Arcachon.
It is a very touristic resort in a unique landscape.

We intend to study different aspects of the Atlantic coast (biological, geological, economical, touristic, historical ... ) in order to understand and estimate the consequences of pollution on our shores.

That multidisciplinary study will enable 6th- grade students (ages 11 to 12 ) to acquire and use information to construct one or several projects we would communicate via the internet or mail service to other European -secundary schools -
partners located along the Atlantic coast, the North Sea or the Baltic Sea.

We expect participants to provide us with information about their own shores pollution concerns.

Our project is aimed at gathering and exchanging extensive information and reflections on a precise topic between different schools from the European Community
